What does the forum theme “ITS Innovation Creating Liveable Communities” mean to you?
It’s about co-design with our customers, leveraging technology to create integrated experiences, exploring emerging business models and understanding the role of partnerships to deliver on our vision of creating a single integrated transport network accessible to everyone.
Why are you excited about participating at the ITS Asia Pacific Forum on Intelligent Transport Systems 2020?
This is an exciting opportunity to learn, network and share the work we are doing in Queensland.
Where do you see the Intelligent Transport industry in the next 5 to 10 years?
The pace of change will be rapid and our customers will expect more. New business models like Mobility as a Service will emerge along with other innovations that industry is already exploring or mature in, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics. There will be many opportunities to use emerging technology to create better experiences for customers, it will be about how we do that in a way that makes sense to the customer and incorporates partnerships with industry.
Ishra Baksh will be speaking at the ITS Asia Pacific Forum on Intelligent Transport Systems which will be taking place on the 25 – 28 May, 2020. For more information on our other speakers, please visit our invited speakers page or program.
