Demonstration Types: In-Person Demos | Digital Demos
Some demonstrations will run as in-person demos which can be experienced by Delegates attending the conference in-person. Other demonstrations will run as Digital Demos and these are available for both in-person Delegates and Digital Delegates.

Cooperative ITS Day 1 and Day 2 Use Cases for Smart Cities by Q-Free Australia

Q-Free Australia is leading the way in connected mobility solutions across the areas of Tolling, ITS and Traffic Management.

This demonstration will highlight a suite of urban cooperative-ITS use cases and show Q-Free’s vision for how they can improve the customer journey experience and operations of the transport network.

Participants on this demonstration will travel on a circuit through Brisbane’s central business district, where they’ll learn about Q-Free Australia’s C-ITS solutions across a range of real-life journey scenarios.

The C-ITS scenarios that will be highlighted includes tolling, variable speed zones, traffic updates, low emission zones, hazard warning and intersection operations. The demonstration will show how Q-Free’s connected mobility solutions come to life as part of the smart city ecosystem.

Bringing Mobility as a Service (MaaS) to Life

To get ready for the future and ensure The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is an agent of change, TMR has been collaborating with industry and stakeholders, assessing readiness for MaaS and co-designing, prototyping and testing possible MaaS projects to contribute to the vision of ‘creating a single integrated transport network accessible to everyone’.

Key to enabling MaaS is providing customers with a comprehensive view of their travel options, journey planning and payment, within an integrated offering. TMR has been exploring such an offering and invites delegate to join this demonstration for an experience of MaaS in Brisbane.

  • TMR’s MaaS proof of concept app, bringing together public, shared, micro and active transport modes into an integrated solution
  • The level of integration across mobility services in Brisbane, and how Queensland is preparing for future mobility innovations

Matilda by SAGE Automation – The World’s Smartest Transit Hub

Join SAGE Automation for this demonstration of the Matilda Smart Transit Hub, highlighting the features and technical aspects of the Matilda and its functions. The demonstration will provide an overview of the Matilda’s Smart City capabilities and how it is utilising shared data and IOT’s to increase mobility and accessibility for the surrounding community.
